Working in a complex and fast-moving environment, you'll partner with stakeholders to uncover opportunities, define meaningful business problems, and guide the delivery of data products that create measurable value. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys navigating complexity and thrives on turning business challenges into impactful data outcomes.

What you'll be doing…

  • Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can improve business outcomes and decision-making.
  • Leading discovery activities to define business problems, priorities, success measures and delivery outcomes.
  • Translating business needs into clear requirements, business questions and prioritised backlog items.
  • Managing and refining the Commercial Data Squad backlog to ensure work is well-defined and delivery ready.
  • Working closely with analysts, engineers, and business teams to deliver valuable data products and information assets.
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to align priorities and build consensus.
  • Supporting prioritisation decisions by assessing initiative value, risks, dependencies and expected benefits.
  • Identifying opportunities to create reusable enterprise information assets that deliver value across the organisation.

You'll be great in this role if you have…

  • Experience as a Data Product Owner, Product Owner or similar role within data, analytics, reporting or technology environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Experience translating business challenges into clear requirements, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, discovery, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and managing product backlogs.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities and drive clarity.
  • An understanding of data, analytics, reporting or information product concepts.
  • A curious and proactive approach, with the ability to explore complex business environments, uncover opportunities and challenge assumptions.
